Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst (Direct Hire with Client)

The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will assist with leading the management of accounts payable processes for our client's Corporate Headquarters. This position will interact with various departments and third-party vendors, and will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.

This is a direct hire with a manufacturing client working a hybrid environment, 3 days at home and 2 days in the Auburn Hills office.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain vendor records, including creating new vendors profiles, establishing payment methods, and reviewing all vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and complete information
• Provide accounts payable support to vendors to ensure good working relationship and acknowledge queries
• Manage AP system updates such as expense approval limits, hierarchy tables, user changes, and approval workflows
• Route received invoices for proper approval prior to payment
• Entering payable information into the Company's general ledger (SAP)
• Support with processing payments (checks/wires)
• Prepare month-end AP accruals
• Perform AP account reconciliations
• Assist with month end G/L closing
• Assist with audit requests to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable
• SAP experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Highly driven/self-starter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
