Senior Art Director

Lionbridge Technologies is looking for an Art Director to work as part of our creative team embedded in Cisco Systems Inc.'s internal brand agency, The Hatch. Lionbridge is an award-winning company enabling more than 800 brands to increase international market share, speed adoption of products and effectively engage their customers in local markets worldwide. This particular Lionbridge account services Cisco's brand team, which won IHAF's in-house agency of the year in 2020.

What You Will Do
  • Art direct, design, illustrate, and concept big, conceptual brand expressions across all mediums, including web, mobile, product, film, photography, interactive, (Out of Home Design (OOH), print, events, experiential etc.
  • Use your strong understanding of how art direction, design and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand and within a product
  • Generate unique design and promotional concepts that promote each client's brand position and identity, while enhancing the experience for the consumer
  • Strong experience in Motion Graphics and 2D and/or 3D Animation
  • Participates in the execution of entire creative process within an allotted time frame and budget.
  • Works directly with a team led by a creative director to concept and execute work.
  • Adheres to the stated process and procedures of our company.
  • Work directly with advertising and marketing agency partners in campaign creation and execution
  • Align with product teams to ensure that asset creation and development of team marketing needs are met
  • Responsible and accountable for their own and others' work, delegating effectively to balance a varied and demanding workload, and appreciates that the team working well can achieve much more than any individual
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about their client's business, and where and how creative contributes to its success
  • Work with leadership, operations and the creative team to evolve creative processes, manage design systems productivity, and culture while maintaining consistency and a high level of execution
  • Contribute to leadership brainstorming on the company's brand positioning and provide strategic business insight


To Be Successful You Will Have
  • Successful track record of 7+ years managing complex, executive-level and highly visible integrated campaign projects in a creative agency environment
  • Creative problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to apply creativity to strategically lead real world problems
  • Ability to communicate concepts and ideas to others through written, drawn and verbal means, particularly design staff across disciplines and project managers
  • Knowledge of a range of channels: Digital, video, web, photography, print, and event
  • Great typography skills and knowledge of usability and UX best practices
  • Understand the complexity of marketing/advertising and know how to set the visual standard for different categories
  • Able to bring ideas to life with comps and prototypes using creative software and other tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Keynote, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and its software suite and Animation software (After Affects and Cinema 3D/4D)
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills; be able to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines with a confident, positive attitude.
