Sr. Business Analyst (Capital Market Experience) (Remote)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for (conduct when necessary) business analysis efforts for a variety of Investment Operations online application projects and initiatives.

- Partner with Product Executive, the implementation team, Service Delivery, and client support team to identify business and systems requirements and processes.

- Facilitate and/or participate in and contribute to internal and/or external client workshops/meetings to gather, understand and document client’s project goals, workflows, complex business needs, gaps, and opportunities.

- Determine how changing business needs will affect the system product, and process

- Ensure current and accurate documentation of the solution, including business requirements documents and systems design documents.

- Work effectively within the product development team to deliver to plan; perform business analysis and quality management throughout the SDLC

- Manage the internal user knowledge transfer and provide product demonstrations. Develop and update this process in line with technological and business changes.

- Perform business analysis and project management activities on assigned tasks to ensure projects stay on budget and are completed within agreed upon timeframes.

- Identify gaps in current products or solutions and recommend and create new solutions to fill thesegaps. Identify process improvements for the division to continually improve our efficiency and lower the cost of doing business.

- Be innovative and drive “outside the box” thinking. Solve difficult problems as needed through proposing insightful, knowledgeable, effective solutions.

- Provide cost estimates, based on input from the technology team to the business sponsors for the proposed solution.

- Ensure effective communication flows between products team and other internal teams about product strategy and product development progress

- Participate in all aspects of product testing, including documentation of test cases and test scripts, testing, tracking defects, and analysis of results.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree preferred with 7 to 12 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified and/or 5+ years related business or technology experience.

- Captal Market Domain Knowledge( Trade, Corporate action, Fund Accounting , Reconciliation)

- Financial services industry knowledge and experience

- Background in Trade Management middle office process and applications a huge plus.

- Understanding and experience with DTCC products and services like CTM, Trade Suite preferred.

- Understanding of custody operations, fund accounting workflows, cash management a plus.

- Demonstrated application of project management principles, practices, tools, and techniques, including business case development, ROI analysis, planning, scope and issues management, budgeting, and facilitation.

- Proficiency using windows-based applications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and MS Project.

- Knowledgeable in SWIFT messaging, communication methods such as FTP and MQ, and other systems and Internet technologies.

- Ability to recognize one's own strengths and limitations, taking appropriate initiative to pursue development activities and seek assistance as needed.

- Creative and effective problem solving and analytical skills.

- Experience in leading and creating a positive team environment.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
