Our opportunity:
As a Senior Cyber Security Manager in Automation Anywhere, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our information systems and data from cyber threats. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cyber security policies, standards, and guidelines, as well as leading the design, implementation, and operation of security controls and countermeasures across the organization. You will also be responsible for managing a team of cyber security professionals and ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to address emerging cyber threats. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that cyber security measures are integrated into business processes and systems, and communicate effectively with senior executives, stakeholders, and external parties to provide insight and guidance on cyber security issues. Finally, you will stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving Automation Anywhere's cyber security posture.
Who you’ll report to:

Location: San Jose, CA Bay Area preferred. Other U.S metro locations will be considered
You will make an impact by being responsible for:

Developing and implementing a comprehensive cyber security strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, and continuously review for gaps
-
Leading security projects and initiatives, including but not limited to implementing new security solutions or upgrading existing systems
-
Managing and leading the SOC team, including incident response, threat intelligence, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security architecture
-
Reviewing secure network architectures including SaaS solutions, internal infrastructure, and applications that are being purchased or implemented
-
Working with IT Sec Ops and compliance teams on all areas of security risk management, compliance, incident response, and security strategy
-
Leading all coordination efforts and respond to security incidents, including any security breaches and cyber-attacks. Ensure any such reported incidents are promptly and thoroughly investigated and remediated

Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to identify and mitigate security risks, develop and implement security controls, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards
-
Conducting regular security assessments, risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.

Assisting with regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
-
Overseeing the communication, implementation and maintenance of security and compliance policies, procedures, and measures, including IT infrastructure and business applications

Staying up to date with emerging security threats and technologies, including evaluating and selecting security technologies, tools, and vendors to ensure the organization's security needs are met

Working with various business units to ensure that security requirements are integrated into all aspects of their operations including providing guidance and security best practice recommendations and procedures

Translating security and technical risks, controls, and operational metrics into business language to communicate with the Board and Executives

Finding automation opportunities in Security operations and Compliance teams to improve on metrics and reduce alerts and errors by representing team in Center of Excellence
You will be a great fit if you have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
-
7+ years’ experience in working with cloud security, business application security, and network security including: managing security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards

Proven experience as a cyber security leader with experience in managing a team
-
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification a plus

Strong technical knowledge and experience in security architecture, vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence

Up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $167,000 – $208,000 and outside of those locations is $152,000 – 190,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
