Title: Mechanical/Piping Designer - Midstream
Division: Midstream
Salary Range: $40/hr to $55/hr
Serves as a key member, utilizing Computer Aided Design (“CAD”) for the design and construction of gathering and transmission pipelines and facilities, including but not limited to, pump stations, compressor station, meter and regulator facilities, truck and rail loading / unloading facilities, and bulk storage terminals. Must have an advanced understanding of fundamental design principles, applications, and concepts in the Oil and Gas industry with a high degree of proficiency working with computer-aided design software, including but not limited to, AutoCAD, CADWorX, and Navisworks software. Requires the proven ability to create, maintain, and update piping specifications utilizing CadWorX Spec Editor as well as the production of isometric piping drawings and associated bills of materials with I-Configure and Isogen applications. Responsible for leading the design efforts for the production of moderate to semi-complex PFD’s / P&ID’s; facility and project site layouts / site plans; 3D piping models; orthographic piping plans, sections and details; and isometric piping drawings in accordance with governing client standards and LJA protocols. Is self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail, capable of working independently as well as in a group environment, with a dedication to ethics, safety, and quality.

Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to solve routine problems and/or deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and listen both in an office environment as well as remote project sites. This position requires frequent and extended periods of time working on computers and occasionally driving to/from project sites and off-site meetings. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision in order to accurately input data and proofread documents and drawings; distance vision in order to safely and accurately gather information at project sites.
