About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer to do DevSecOps work on our cloud Infrastructure and Security team. This is a hands-on position with daily coding/scripting, writing and refactoring existing code. Besides project work there is an operational component to the job to support our Engineering organization and our whole company.

This position reports to the Lead DevOps Engineer

US Based Salary: $145,000 - $205,000

What you will do

• You will be part of our Engineering organization and report directly to the Cloud Infrastructure and Security lead
• Automate and secure our infrastructure from clouds to endpoints, build tooling to enhance development velocity
• Take part in the on-call rotation
• Work with an agile, exceptionally skilled globally distributed team
• Work daily with Microsoft Azure, use tools such as Terraform, ansible, GitHub actions, etc…
• Participate in architectural design sessions in order to build in scalability, reliability, and security into our products from the earliest stages

Additional qualifications and considerations

• At least 5 years in a DevSecOps or Cloud Operations position
• At least 2 years of Microsoft Azure experience
• Demonstrated programming/scripting experience in at least one of python, bash, powershell
• In-Depth experience with at least one IaC tool (Terraform preferred)
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with setting up logging/monitoring/alerts in a cloud environment (Microsoft Azure preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working with developing and maintaining a large infrastructure codebase that can scale with the growth of the company's technological footprint
• Solid experience with at least one CI/CD system that uses declarative configuration (Github Actions preferred) and understanding of its security considerations and best practices
• Hands-on experience with automation using Azure Logic Apps and/or Function Apps
• Added Bonus if you have experience:
  
  • With DataDog
  • Integrating, developing queries, and automating incident response for a major SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Ansible
  • With MDM using Jamf and its integration with a SIEM
  • Maintaining and integrating SaaS services into Single Sign-on (Azure AD preferred)
