About the role

We're looking for a Senior Director, Demand Generation to take full ownership of our marketing strategy, programs, and campaigns that support our next exciting stage of growth. Reporting into the Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, you'll initially lead a team of 1 and a small network of contractors and agencies to build our brand, markets, and business. While the role is overarching, it requires hands on, day-to-day ownership for field marketing campaigns, media and industry analyst relations, product marketing, and digital marketing.

As a seasoned marketer and leader with experience across all facets of demand generation – brand; market intelligence, content and thought leadership; performance marketing, product marketing, events, influencer marketing, digital, marketing technology and operations; and lead generation - you will be a critical driver of DAS42's success in acquiring customers, retaining, and growing our client base.

What you'll do

  • Develop a holistic, data-driven marketing strategy to build the DAS42 brand and create demand for our services
  • Understand market and consumer trends, competitive landscape, and themes in our industry sectors
  • Build and protect the DAS42 brand through rigorous brand management, media outreach, and industry analyst relations, and social engagement
  • Oversee the development and distribution of educational, thought leadership, and marketing content to fuel the marketing engine across channels
  • Manage and enhance DAS42 website as a source of rich, relevant content for prospect engagement and conversion
  • Ensure that DAS42 is found online through effective performance marketing – SEO, SEM
  • Establish an account-based marketing mindset for the team and provide the tools, processes, and technology platforms that support the effective creation, execution, and measurement of all marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Partner Enablement and Alliances to integrate partner campaigns into our programs and extend our budgets through maximum market development funding
  • Work closely with our sales team to ensure that we are all aligned on prospect targeting, account prioritization, lead scoring, lead management processes, etc.
  • Establish a functional BDR capability to enhance demand generation
  • Work directly with Consulting team to ensure that every service and solution has the foundational key assets needed to bring it to market – e.g., names, value propositions, battle cards, videos, white papers, etc. – and the campaigns to sell it
  • Develop a rigorously measured event program that matches the event to our business objectives, e.g. big trade shows to build brand awareness, or smaller regional events to generate new marketing qualified leads, or DAS42 produced events to deepen client relationships
  • Lead, coach, and expand the growth marketing team as you demonstrate the impact of marketing on building the business
  • Establish clear KPIs and processes for reporting on the effectiveness of marketing efforts and leverage marketing analytics to empower data-driven decisions
  • Create a consistent cadence of marketing communications to engage internal stakeholders and report impact in ways that are meaningful to them

What we're looking for

  • Proven strategic marketer, but also a hands-on leader who's willing to embody a make-it-happen mindset
  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in high growth, start-up environments
  • 3+ years in management and leadership positions
  • History of developing, inspiring, retaining, and coaching high performing marketing teams to drive attainment of ambitious company objectives
  • Experience managing a network of agencies to extend the power and reach of your marketing programs
  • Experience managing across marketing functions with an emphasis on ABM lead generation
  • Hands on experience with field marketing campaigns, digital marketing, product and media and analyst relations
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong executive presentation skills

  • Anticipated Travel: Up to 20%
  • Location Options: Anywhere in the US, but East Coast preferred
  • Base Salary Range: $115k-200k
