What You'll Be Doing in the role of Sr. Full Stack Developer
Komen’s Platform & Engineering team is looking for a Sr. Full stack developer who is comfortable in both middle-tier and back-end applications, including requirements gathering, architecture, HTML/js coding, UI, full scale testing and maintenance. The Sr. Full Stack developer will work with development teams, product managers & Business leaders to ideate new changes, enhancements and fixes. The ideal candidate will be able to handle projects from conception to finished product and stay abreast of developments in web, cloud & framework technologies.
Design and Develop client-side, server-side & Cloud modules.
Design and create database schemas.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction for testing the software to ensure quality, responsiveness and efficiency.
Design and develop APIs.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
Mentor & coach other developers on the team.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to the Table
Hands on experience in using responsive web development principles, including experience with CSS/JS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation.
Proficiency in writing semantic HTML markup.
Familiarity with requirements techniques such as user stories, use cases, and informal modeling.
Experience in building highly-scalable web applications.
Experience in building cloud-native applications.
Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
Experience in developing user interfaces that communicate with APIs.
We Already Know You Will Also Have
10+ years of experience with multiple middle-tier & back-end languages in the Microsoft development ecosystem (C++, C# .NET).
10+ years of experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, query analysis / tuning, & data modeling.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred experience includes:
7+ years of experience with designing and creating REST API’s.
3+ years of experience with WebAPI, OAuth & OData.
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and working experience with No-SQL databases.
10+ years of experience with T-SQL and creating stored procedures, views, functions and other database objects.
Experience in building cloud-native applications.
3+ years of experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
Candidate must have a strong attention to detail and must be a team player with constructive attitude towards the business problems.
Candidate should be able to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with both technical and non-technical parties.
Candidate must be a self-motivated leader who is results driven, and technology enthusiast.
Candidate must be able to make decisions quickly and work under strict deadlines.
Experience working in a team-oriented fast paced, distributed and collaborative environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven and well organized.
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Travel requirements required outside of your home office will be less than 10% or more depending on our business needs and department meetings.
