The BentoBox Marketing and Commerce Platform delivers a seamless guest experience dedicated to accelerating growth and helping restaurants thrive. BentoBox empowers modern restaurants to build their online presence, diversify revenue, engage with diners, and increase operational efficiency. To do so, the platform includes products such as websites, ordering (online ordering, pre-order & catering, gift cards, merchandise, tickets), events management, and marketing tools. 

Over 8,000 restaurant concepts worldwide rely on BentoBox as their digital front door. BentoBox is trusted and loved by hospitality groups such as José Andrés’s ThinkFoodGroup and Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group and independent restaurants including Emmy Squared, Suerte, and The Meatball Shop. In November 2021, Fiserv, a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology that enables 200,000 restaurants to deliver differentiating experiences, acquired BentoBox. The acquisition will allow BentoBox to support more restaurants than ever before.

About the Role:

BentoBox is seeking a Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing team and focus on customer marketing. Reporting to the VP of Growth, this person will work with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Content to deliver meaningful campaigns that drive engagement and expansion. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and able to communicate a thoughtful strategy for engaging both prospects and customers. Our environment is fast-paced and requires balancing scrappiness with scale, gut with data, and planning with action.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create scalable programs that are informed by where a customer is on their lifecycle journey
  • Build a comprehensive strategy for BentoBox’s lifecycle marketing campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, engagement, and expansion within the existing customer base
  • Drive email/in-app/SMS/chat segmentation strategy, campaign execution, reporting, and optimization, to improve full-funnel KPIs
  • Work closely with our Customer Success team, to plan, develop, and execute communications to our existing customers throughout the customer journey, from onboarding to product engagement, to upsell/cross-sell, to renewal, to win-back
  • Work with our email team to develop segmented nurture campaigns to engage, educate, and move prospects through the funnel
  • Evaluate ad-hoc and lifecycle campaign/activity performance on an ongoing basis to identify and implement opportunities to close gaps and scale successes

Experience We’re Looking For:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, loyalty marketing, email marketing or customer marketing
  • An advanced understanding of email marketing best practices and confidence with other lifecycle marketing channels - in-app, chat, and SMS
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience managing cross-functional stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Very strong writing, with the ability to adapt to the nuanced tone of voice guidelines depending on the audience and context
  • Strong project management capabilities and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Clear understanding of KPIs by marketing channel and ability to determine effectiveness and ROI from reporting
  • Obsessed with driving growth by engaging both prospects and existing customers across each communication touchpoint of the customer journey

Important Information on BentoBox’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

In order to protect our community, BentoBox newly hired employees in the United States will not be required to be fully vaccinated, but will be required to disclose vaccination status. Associates traveling within the U.S. will no longer be required to attend safety briefings and Fiserv-sponsored events will no longer require proof of vaccination. All Fiserv associates can enter and work in Fiserv facilities regardless of vaccination status.
