Sr. Payroll Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Sr. Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for the accurate administration of payroll for all locations across Gestamp North America (GNA). The Payroll Specialist will be responsible to work with all HR payroll associates. This will include sharing knowledge, helping with problems/resolutions, and ensuring that the process is completed timely.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for all timely and accurate payroll distribution for all US Gestamp facilities;

2. Oversee all timely and accurate data entries for all US Gestamp facilities;

3. Responsible for processing, posting payrolls, and managing direct deposits for all US Gestamp facilities;

4. Support HR with benefits withholding, payroll deductions, garnishments, levies, health saving accounts, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.

5. Responsible for quarterly and annual tax filings for all US Gestamp facilities;

6. Responsible for tax rate updates within SAP for all US Gestamp facilities;

7. Responsible for W-2 log: rehires, social security updates, name changes etc.

8. Knowledgeable in 1095-C and 1094-C processing for all US Gestamp facilities;

9. Additional roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Experiences:

Knowledgeable in both Federal and state employment law and compliance;

Knowledgeable in taxable employee benefits, e.g. life insurance, and relocation expenses;

Knowledgeable in- year in payroll processing, including W-2 auditing.

Knowledgeable for quarterly and annual tax filings

OUR MUST HAVES:

A minimum of an Associate Degree is preferred.

Payroll experience in a multi-plant environment.

Experience with SAP HR/Payroll application required.

Intermediate MS Excel experience required.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
