Architect and drive the development of next-generation security technologies for Service Providers that cater to Mobile, Fixed/Wireline, Edge access as well as Data Center using a combination of On-Prem, hybrid and Cloud-native solutions.

Be responsible for and drive the infrastructure to support cutting edge solutions in the field of DDOS protection, Advanced Security that leverages high speed distributed processing including integration with multiple cloud technologies and frameworks. The solutions involve DDOS Detection & Mitigation, supporting CGNAT (NAT, DS-Lite, NAT64, 6rd, LW406, NAT46), Application Identification, Mobile Security solutions (GTP Firewall, SCTP Security), Deep Packet Inspection etc.

Responsibilities:

This is a very technical and highly demanding hands-on Senior Architect/Lead position with many years of experience leading a team of Software Engineers. The ideal candidate should be well versed in the below areas, be able to drive the implementation of security solutions through a team that he would manage while also architecting and delivering critical customer focused enhancements in an individual capacity.

Implement a framework to support advanced DDOS detection and mitigation for Service Providers – IOT Security, Inbound & Outbound attacks, etc.
Enhance Security capabilities and Deep packet inspection for applications protocols such as SIP, H323, QUIC, FTP etc.
Mobile Security – GTP, SCTP, Diameter Protocol handling and security (LTE/5G) Architecture and various security implications and safeguards
Drive the team to enhance IPv6 migration capabilities via support of Dynamic NAT, Fixed NAT, NAT64/DNS64, Port Overload, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BS plus 16+ years or MS plus 14+ years in Engineering
10+ years working with C
5+ years working with python and good with shell scripting
5+ years of experience working with application protocols such as FTP, DNS, SIP, Radius, Diameter, SCTP, etc.
Ability to lead a team of Software Engineers
Proven track record of being able to develop large complex software solutions that have been deployed in the field
Comprehensive understanding of the DDOS landscape and potential solutions
Familiar with analysis of performance bottlenecks and able to work on performance tuning
