QED-C is seeking interns to assist in enhancing and implementing new application-oriented benchmark programs and techniques in a public open-source project. Interns will be able to work a hybrid schedule if you are local to the Arlington, VA office or work fully remotely. Opportunities are available part-time during the spring semester and full-time during the summer.
The interns will implement algorithms to run on quantum computing simulators and on multiple quantum computing hardware systems, including publicly available systems. The interns will draft technical documentation and contribute to scientific manuscripts.
Several leading quantum computing companies are involved in the effort and the individuals will interact with and learn from technical experts in the quantum industry.
Desired qualifications:
The salary range is: $20-$38/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
