Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is a multi-program laboratory applying state of the art science and practical, high-value, cost-effective solutions to complex technical problems to protect the nation. Located at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken SC, the laboratory develops and deploys innovative technologies to address some of the nation’s environmental, energy, and national security challenges.
The research directorates of SRNL are seeking administrative support staff for the for various members of their management teams. Tasks for the successful candidate may include some of, but not limited to, the following:
Management of all aspects the managers calendar including coordination of internal and external meetings, management of email, preparation of documents and reports using Microsoft Office products, making travel arrangements.
Capturing of meeting minutes and notes from select events, tracking of actions assigned to the manager/organization and completion of non-routine projects and activities.
In support of the Counterintelligence Office (CIO), the individual will schedule briefings of SRNL/SRNS employees as requested by CIO staff, develop and conduct awareness briefings, track foreign travel requests and provide country specific information to the traveler.
Other administrative tasks may include setting up offices (desks, computers, etc.) for new hires, assisting with onboarding new employees, supporting tours and high-level visits and other meetings hosted by SRNL leadership.
The successful candidate will have the needed interpersonal skills to work in a team setting and effectively communicate with a range of personnel - including staff, management, peers, US government representatives, and visitors.
Candidates who are selected for an interview may be required to demonstrate proficiency using one or more Microsoft Office Products.

Basic Education Qualifications
Associate degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. with 8 Years Experience years working in a similar administrative position.
Proficient with MS Office and common computer applications.
Excellent communication skills
Other Required Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
6+ years working in similar administrative position.
Proficient with MS Office and common computer applications.

Experience working at a DOE Facility or National Laboratory
