About the Opportunity

Salsify is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Staff Accountant should be a motivated self-starter and have an interest in helping to develop processes and controls in a dynamic and growth-oriented company. The ideal candidate will have the drive and ambition to work beyond their role and will have the ability to grow their talents at Salsify. This position will report into the Assistant Controller.

**Preference will be given to candidates who live in the Boston area**

How You'll Make an Impact:

Complete month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
Maintain reconciliations for prepaids, fixed assets, and accrued expenses
Collaborate cross functionally with various departments to ensure accurate and complete general ledger activity and proper classification on the financial statements
Perform internal reporting of key income statement accounts such as Hosting and Marketing expense
Assist with ad-hoc projects for the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller as they arise

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance highly preferred
Previous experience as an Accountant is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Ability to read and analyze financial statements
Organized and detail-oriented
