Staff Business Systems Data Analyst

The Business Systems Data Analyst is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and maintaining various reporting needs for CRM, ERP, and other enterprise systems. This will be a hands-on technical role with proven experience and knowledge of databases, emphasizing reporting and data analytics through the entire project lifecycle. The Reports Developer will help identify and participate in reporting platform implementation across enterprise systems.

What you'll do:

• Acquires knowledge of our multiple types of operations data with the desire to understand how the business uses the information
• Works with Business Analysts, end users, and stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop detailed specifications for reporting
• Analyze and estimate the feasibility of new reports/dashboards and compatibility with existing software and hardware.
• Provide dashboard/reporting functionality and create key enterprise application performance indicators, calculations, and metrics.
• Work in conjunction with DBA/data architects on the back-end data warehouse reporting solution running Athena, snowflake.
• Act as an SME for all the business data across, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, and Finance.
• Manage and perform data cleansing, de-duplication, and harmonization of data received from and potentially used by multiple systems.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience as reporting developer in a Data Warehouse environment
• Four-year college degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Technically fluent with relational databases - AWS RDS, Sn
• Sound understanding of relational structures, SQL skills, along with reporting techniques
• Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle, Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Hands-on experience writing queries on databases
• Must exhibit proficiency in the use of structured query language (SQL)
• Must demonstrate proficiency in turning out bug-free code and end results
• Must be able to interact cordially and productively with all employees of Database Solutions
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Must possess excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to proficiently read, write and communicate clearly in English
• Experience with front-end reporting tools, AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or MicroStrategy Good

Salary Range for select office locations

• Santa Clara $143,100 to $208,10
