We are looking for an experienced automation engineer to contribute to our product quality by building out automated test plans and test frameworks to ensure comprehensive product coverage and system readiness. This role will coordinate and provide technical guidance to Automation and Senior Automation Engineers and will be a key partner to engineers in ensuring product quality expectations are met. We need technically capable, forward-looking, experienced, automation engineers who are excited to contribute and deliver impactful results. We also desire those who can balance rapid iteration and development with high product quality expectations and who are innovative, confident, and comfortable with ambiguity.
What You’ll Do:
Drive our automation coverage by working closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers on test planning and building automated test cases and extending our test infrastructure.
Guide developers to understand how to automate testing from code authoring through integration and system testing, based on the product architecture and requirements
Design and evolve test strategies that employ modern test tools and techniques including AI where applicable
Oversee execution of test cycles to ensure comprehensive and repeatable test coverage
Create automation scripts for new functionality and regression testing
Drive innovation of test frameworks and test tools as needed
Oversee defect reporting, tracking, resolution and closure across multiple teams
Multitask between triaging issues, authoring test plans and automated tests, reviewing coverage and handling intake from existing and emergent feature development pipelines
Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance and be able to handle periods of uncertainty and ambiguity; detail-orientation is a must
What You’ll Bring:
3+ years hands-on software quality assurance testing experience, preferably with web and mobile applications in the software development industry
4+ years hands-on software test automation development experience (UI and API)
Experience with Web testing elements such as HTML, CSS, XPath, etc
Deep knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts, experience with C# and JavaScript and testing expertise across unit, integration and system levels.
Experience with code deployments and version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc) and automation tools (
Cypress.io
preferred)
Experience driving the
Test Pyramid
and
Agile Test Quadrants
concepts in organizations

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $102,000 - $147,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
