Duties and Responsibilities
This is new 0.5 FTE Staff Scientist position request to work on NIH-funded projects on viral hepatitis dynamics in vitro, in vivo and on the population level. We are looking for a part-time enthusiastic scientist with mathematical and statistical skills and a strong interest in viral dynamics. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in the core areas of the group’s research; a track record of publications; and commitment to work to the highest standards. The candidate should have good programming skills, good working knowledge of one or more mathematical, modeling or statistical packages (e.g., Anylogoc, Matlab, Monolix, R) and excellent English (both written and oral).
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
A PhD in applied mathematics, statistics, computer or computational science, or mathematical biology is appropriate.
