About the Position:

Under the general direction of the Office Chief, Project Management Application Systems (PMAS), a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the incumbent collects, studies, and summarizes project delivery and financial data to reveal ways to improve Caltrans’ project delivery efficiency by implementing data governance and data quality standards. This includes analyzing and summarizing data from various databases related to Project Delivery and coordinating with engineers. The incumbent will be the primary point of contact to the Statewide Project Management Data Community, developing policies, provide guidance, creating reports related to project data quality issues and facilitate meetings. The incumbent also co-leads the Data Governance effort for the Quality Management Reporting System (QMRS) and the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
