Job Summary:

Staff4Me is looking for a dedicated Network Operation Center (NOC) professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense in maintaining the availability and performance of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring network systems, troubleshooting incidents, and escalating issues as necessary. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to ensure optimal network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and availability 24/7 using advanced network monitoring tools.
  • Identify, log, and escalate incidents in alignment with established policies and protocols.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of network issues including connectivity, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing.
  • Coordinate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of network upgrades and maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in the documentation of standard operating procedures for NOC operations.
  • Engage in proactive monitoring and alerting to ensure swift incident responses.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and communication during network incidents.

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial.

2. Previous experience in a Network Operations Center or Help Desk environment is preferred but not mandatory.

3. Fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routers, switches, and firewalls.
