Day to day, the focus will be on partnering with Campaign Managers to drive out analysis, measurement, and optimization of marketing investments across marketing channels. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring each assigned campaign team has the appropriate analytics support to make data-driven and data-supported decisions, including establishing measurement and monitoring plans, driving out testing & learning, and providing data and reporting.Additional Information:• Works with business partners to understand objectives and develops an analytic approach for creating actionable insights to inform decisions.• Formulates hypotheses, gathers, and analyzes data, interprets results and their implications, and recommends next-step actions.• Leverages profiling and segmentation techniques to identify attributes associated with sales performance and customer purchase/loyalty behaviors.• Designs and deploys formal testing plans to assess and optimize marketing effectiveness.• Analyzes business trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to guide strategic planning.• Works with business partners to identify needs for predictive models and participates in model development and maintenance.• Supports business partner’s overall analytics needs through enterprise-wide collaboration to deliver a holistic view which leverages data and insights from the broader analytics community.• Remains current on industry trends and brings forward opportunities for innovation.• Proactively identifies opportunities for increasing efficiency and consistency within work processes.• Identifies appropriate stakeholders and works collaboratively to encourage diverse perspectives.QualificationsAn Ideal Candidate:• Minimum of a completed bachelor's degree, degree in analytics-oriented discipline preferred (Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, etc.)• Preferred 5+ years of professional experience in assessing marketing investment performance, specifically experience in media measurement (video, audio, social media advertising and engagement, etc.)• Experience using analytics to improve engagement• Experience in marketing measurement for both current and prospective customers• Understanding of attribution methods and multi-touch attribution.• Ability to speak fluently to marketing performance, gaps, and opportunities.• Extremely articulate in written and oral formats• Ability to collaborate and partner across a matrix organization• Understanding of paid and organic mediaAdditional Skills:• Ability to learn AWS Services (Athena, Redshift, Sagemaker) and Python for future state analytical need.• Working knowledge of SAS and/or SQL is preferred.• Focus will be working with Marketing Campaign Teams executing tactics for Cross Sell and/or Retention purposes.• Consulting with Campaign Managers and other business partners for Marketing outcome measurement.• Knowledge of Marketing principles and leveraging Marketing data to drive decision making.
