Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Attorney III has responsibility for the full range of legal issues andproviding legal advice to executive management. The Attorney III is responsible for all legal analyses and recommendationsinvolving SCDD. The incumbent may assist in the formation and review of administrative policy, as assigned. The Attorney IIIhas contact with SCDD Executive Management and staff, Council Members, Department of Social Services, Department ofDevelopmental Services, Office of the Attorney General, State Compensation Insurance Fund, California Department of HumanResources, Department of Industrial Relations, and other public and private agencies.
