Introduction GRADE18LOCATION OF POSITIONMDH, Queen Anne's County Department of HealthCentreville, MD 21617Main Purpose of JobThe main purpose of this position is to learn to protect and promote the health of Queen Anne's County citizens by educating, promoting and making appropriate referrals to the Tobacco, Diabetes and Chronic Disease Prevention, Community Wellness and AERS Programs.Minimum QualificationsEducation : Determined by the Maryland State Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Registered Nurse.Experience : None.LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS• Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing, 4140 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21215.• Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.Special RequirementsEmployees in this classification will be required to provide the facility with a telephone number at which they can be reached.SELECTION PROCESSApplicants who meet the minimum (and selective) qualifications will be included in further evaluation.
