Duties will include traveling to various vendor locations, as well as, performing receiving and warehousing duties.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES• Receives products, parts, material and related equipment into inventory.• Products and material will include HVAC, plumbing, electronics, electrical, water heaters and other related products and material to be used by the sales, installation and service business.• Assists with updating receiving data in product and parts computer management systems for inventory fulfillment.• Drives company vehicle to deliver and pick up parts at various supplier and other locations.• Processes and fills products and parts to installation and service personnel.• Occasionally utilizes clamp truck, order picker, and forklift truck as needed.• Pulls parts from inventory for truck stock replenishment.• Loads parts van, and assist installers in loading water heaters via fork lift and clamp trucks.• Receives incoming goods and inspects products, material and parts to verify accurate models and quantity; validates condition of goods being received.• Validates and inputs appropriate receiving documents.• Packages parts for delivery via parcel carrier.• Stage products, parts and material for delivery to technicians and installation groups.• Determines disposition of returned parts and products.• Inspects for damage and makes determination as to scrap, return to stock or return to vendor for credit.• Fills orders for all products in order to meet specified delivery dates. Removes' shipping cartons and crates as necessary.• Participates in inventory as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• Skills/Abilities Knowledge: 1. Must have the ability to learn specific operations of division to which assigned, including warehousing, HVAC, appliance and electronic parts. 2. Ability to act with tact and diplomacy when interacting with suppliers, customers, technicians and installers. 3. Must be computer literate with ability to input and retrieve receiving data of all products, parts and material. 4. Must have general knowledge of Company operations. 5. Must pass U.S. DOT (required chemical test)• Competencies: Driving record must meet corporate standards.• Education/Experience: 1. Minimum of 1 year of job related work experience in product and parts receiving such as water heaters, appliances parts, HVAC and electronic parts and related products, parts and material. 2. Minimum of 1 year experience using a fork lift and clamp truck for the fulfillment of receiving, warehousing and shipping of water heaters, parts and material.• Other (Including physical requirements, working conditions, etc.): 1. Must have a valid Maryland driver's License. 2. Physical ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. 3. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.4. Required to work various shifts and occasional Saturdays.
