We are only minutes away from the Beltline Highway, Interstate 90 and Highway 51 for quick access to local restaurants, retail and service locations.Telecommuting Option: This position may have the ability to telecommute up to 60% in each 2-week pay period. An approved telecommuting agreement is required before an employee may telecommute. Approval of the employee’s telecommuting agreement and work schedule will vary based on the operational needs of the Division. Please click the link for details.Learn what working for the State of Wisconsin is all about!This posting may be used to fill future similar vacancies.Position SummaryThis advanced level auditing position is primary responsible for leading audits, reviewing the work of subordinates, maintaining, and updating auditing programs and procedures, and approving the issuance of licenses.This position leads very complex financial/compliance audits of large multi-state and multi-national Grain Warehouse Keepers and Grain Dealers whose storage and purchase activities are regulated under Wis. Stats. Ch. 126 and Admin. Code Ch. ATCP 99. This position coordinates training, reviews the work product, and provides feedback to subordinate staff. This position is responsible for maintaining the annual audit schedule of Grain Warehouse Keepers and assigns staff as necessary to ensure that statutory audit requirements are met. This position also acts as lead auditor in cases involving grain shortages of depositor grain or defaults in payments to producers. This position is responsible for detecting violations of laws or administrative rules through the application of auditing procedures.Full Position Description – Agriculture Auditor 5Salary InformationThe Agriculture Auditor 5 position is in schedule-range 07-02 with a starting pay of $30.82-$40.00 per hour.This position is not represented by a collective bargaining unit.
