The Role
As an Operations Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives to improve our student experience, overseeing a growing team of student-experience professionals. You will build processes and systems to scale our operations and provide an outstanding learning experience for our new programs.
What You’ll Do
Drive strategic initiatives to improve our student and instructor experience.
Lead experiments to improve student retention, learning, and placement outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scale.
Oversee operations for a growing team of student experience professionals, including coaches and instructors.
Own end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, identifying new features, and hiring.
Own and achieve the student success metrics, including learning outcomes, certification, and satisfaction rates.
Work cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students’ and student experience professionals’ feedback to help inform their product roadmaps.
This job is for you if:
You have 3+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environment.
You are highly analytical, can monitor metrics, and successfully develop action plans to meet business goals.
You can motivate a team to support a large number of students
You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully
You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
You learn quickly through experimentation
You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Bonus points if:
You worked at a startup
You have taught or coordinated online courses at scale
You worked in healthcare

Compensation
Base Salary: $120-140k
Equity: 0.02% - 0.04%
