Who We Are
Stork is building the Open Data Market, creating accessible, high-quality data solutions for on-chain developers. Backed by $4M in seed funding from top crypto venture firms, including Lightspeed Faction, Lattice, and Wintermute Ventures, we’re uniquely positioned to redefine the oracle space through our innovative approach. Our team of driven self-starters, primarily based in NYC, is passionate about advancing decentralized data, and we’re looking for a like-minded Community Lead to join our marketing team.

The Role
As Stork’s Community Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving community-driven initiatives to expand our ecosystem. This will include building and nurturing an engaged and loyal community across platforms like Discord and Telegram. You’ll oversee community engagement, develop and execute community campaigns, and coordinate events that foster connection and advocacy for Stork. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll ensure our community initiatives are aligned with larger marketing goals, acting as a crucial bridge between Stork and its audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement: Manage and actively engage with community members across Discord and Telegram, driving engagement and converting new members into dedicated advocates for Stork.

  • Moderator Supervision: Supervise the existing community moderator to ensure alignment on engagement goals and high standards for community interaction.

  • Campaign Coordination: Develop and execute community-focused campaigns, events, and discussions, working with the marketing team to align them with the broader marketing calendar.

  • Fostering Atmosphere: Cultivate a supportive, enthusiastic, and loyal community atmosphere that encourages active participation and brand advocacy.

  • Creativity: The community problem requires a creative problem solver willing to AB test multiple initiatives and constantly iterate.  

Who You Are:

  • Experience in Community Management: 1-3 years of experience managing communities on platforms like Discord, Telegram, Slack or similar, ideally within tech or crypto.

  • Engagement-Driven Mindset: Passionate about creating meaningful connections and driving loyalty within a community.

  • Clear Communicator: Ability to articulate ideas and interact with members, displaying strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Able to balance multiple campaigns and events while keeping track of key engagement metrics.

  • Team-Oriented and Independent: Comfortable working closely within a team while also managing responsibilities autonomously.

  • Crypto & Web3 Knowledgeable: Familiarity with crypto culture, community dynamics, and trends in community engagement.

  • Preferred: NYC-based for close collaboration with our core team.
