Job Summary

Belden is currently seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to drive the procurement strategy for electronics and mechanical parts and new business for our Belden unit.

You will make a difference in the following ways:

· Lead the main commodities electronics, mechanical parts and new project business for our Belden business units

· Drive procurement strategy, selection, and evaluation within the Belden Industrial Automation Solution (IAS) Group, with core focus on the Americas market

· Collaborate for early integration in the manufacturing of new product design processes in close cooperation with R&D

· Promote continuous cost improvement, negotiation, and target costing under TCO criteria

· Proactively negotiate supplier contracts according to the IAS requirements

· Develop, implement, and maintain the global sourcing strategy in alignment with global Belden IAS and act as the interface with local suppliers

· Act as a supplier performance manager and support regular supplier audits

· Communicate and collaborate often with internal stakeholdersand global purchasing management

What you bring:

· Bachelors Degree in strongly preferred

· 3 or more years of experience in strategic procurement of relevant commodities.

· Understanding of the global sourcing market

· KPI and deadline driven accomplishments in the fields of project management, new product introduction, integrated supply chain, procurement engineering

· Confidence working with cross functional business leaders on a global level

· Experience presenting data-driven analysis to business professionals with various backgrounds.

· Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

· Meet deadlines and KPIs

· Goal-driven and independent working style

· Willingness to travel

Pay: $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

• Mooresville, NC 28115: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Strategic Procurement: 3 years (Preferred)
• Electronics Procurement including PCBAs: 1 year (Preferred)
