Strategy & Operations Manager (Remote)

We’re looking to add a Strategy & Operations Manager (Supply Operations) to our team. This role will be ensuring that we have enough Helpers (Supply), who are out in the field for Dolly, moving the items for our customers; by ensuring that we are using the best technology and tactics to attract and retain top quality Helpers to the organization.

A typical day will include using data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize our application funnel and to automate and improve steps in our overall application process with the goal of decreasing days in funnel for new applicants. You will also be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying new tactics to onboarding and activating newly approved Helpers and Hands to get them completing their first jobs on the platform. Overall, you will improve activation and onboarding rates, increase Supply satisfaction, and reduce cost per applicant. You will also report directly to the Director of Supply Operations; they like to lead with transparency and flexibility.

About the Role

• Monitor our overall pipeline and applicant pool in Fountain (our ATS) to proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Implement proposed changes to our application process in Fountain.
• Design, test, and implement programs intended to improve a myriad of aspects of our Application process including: increasing activation rates (i.e., how many newly approved applicants execute their first Dolly), referral rates, time through funnel, reengaging churned applicants, etc.
• Own, build upon, and maintain our onboarding training materials and program for newly approved Helpers & Hands.
• Own our Supply Growth budget ensuring that programs and expenditures earn a positive ROI for the Dolly business.
• Continually monitor and analyze the overall health of our Supply Acquisition function looking for new opportunities to drive value creation across existing and new activities.
• This role is remote, but candidates need to be based in one of the following states: FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, MT, OH, OR, TN, TX, WI, CA, NY, WA

About You

• Consulting or banking background with experience business casing / building business business models, optimizing resources and how they are allocated.
• Operating experience in a fast paced, early-stage startup.
• Stakeholder management & communication - we wind up working cross functionally on a number of projects
• Experience developing structured, data driven solutions to abstract problems.
• Understanding of and proficiency in building low code solutions that can scale without significant product and engineering support.
• Software: Proficiency in SQL is a huge plus, low code / no code tooling (e.g., Zapier, MailChimp), Fountain (or similar ATS) and the Google Suite.
• Experience in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
