A DAY IN THE LIFE

Set forms to hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them
-
Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, or hand trowel
-
Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, assemble, and install forms, rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts
-
Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute/hose to direct concrete within forms
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experience
-
The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
-
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen
-
Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site (100% travel)
