About the Job
StubHub is seeking an experienced and strategic insights analyst to support our global communications function, based at headquarters in New York City. As an Insights analyst, you will help us find newsworthy trends with data, forecast predictions, use data to support critical company positioning and operationalize the communications insights function. You will be our dedicated insights analyst resource that fuels the company’s storytelling for strategic PR/earned media, organic social, policy comms and internal comms. You will be able to build dashboards and work closely across the analytics engineering team and data science teams to mine for data reports that support stakeholders across the U.S. and Europe, implementing a process to optimize the function, reduce churn and enhance the use of our available data across the global organization. You have a passion for leveraging data to influence audiences with compelling insights that supportscritical proactive and reactive messaging, positioning and storylines. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our brand and communication strategies at large, aligned with our business goals and our customer needs.
The right candidate is analytically minded, proficient in analytic tools and techniques (Tableau, Looker, Excel and SQL) and has a penchant for being creative to find an unexpected insight. Candidates should expect a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, performance-focused, and collaborative work environment.
About the Team
The Global Communications team is responsible for how we communicate about the company to key stakeholders, including consumers, media, partners, policymakers and employees. Our job is to craft the right narratives that support StubHub’s mission to become the go-to live event destination for live events around the world, and to deploy these narratives strategically across all earned channels. We work cross-functionally with every aspect of the business – from Product to Partnerships, Supply to Fulfillment, Customer Support to Acquisition Marketing and more – to help build our reputation, raise brand awareness and affinity for StubHub and our international brand viagogo, as well as create and foster how we communicate with our employees worldwide.
This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.
