Senior Data Analyst (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)
Collaborate with product development teams to research, model, validate, and implement quantitative structured solutions for new and expanded markets. Perform statistical analysis and answer business questions using Python in Hex Notebooks. Build predictive models using Python. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on the key decisions that drive user acquisition success. Apply analytical techniques to address practical issues related to marketing, such as spend allocation, revenue estimation, and risk management. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the performance of our operations and drive resource allocation using Snowflake SQL. Build dashboards that give stakeholders visibility into the current state of our business and finances using Tableau. Develop core analytical capabilities using advanced quantitative and econometric techniques to assist in the success of our marketing department. Research and develop analytical tools to address issues such as optimization, performance measurement, and attribution for performance marketing channels. Measure value of new marketing channels by running experiments. Devise and apply measurement methodologies and tools to verify results of marketing systems through Google Ads. Turn ambiguous questions into clear analytical problems and provide recommendations to decision makers. Design the data pipelines and analysis processes to track business objectives over time. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub, Inc. at 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, New York 10007. Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Economics, or related., plus 3 years of professional experience as Research Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related occupation/position/job title involving quantitative data analytics.
Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience performing financial and quantitative data analytics including using data collection methods, summarizing and presenting analytical findings, and applying statistical methods to real data; 3 years of professional experience using analytics tools including SQL; 3 years of professional experience scripting in a notebook environment using R or Python; 1 year of professional experience producing BI reports using Tableau; 1 year of professional experience utilizing experimentation methodologies including A/B and MVT; 1 year of professional experience using Snowflake SQL; and 1 year of professional experience using Hex Notebooks.
