Student - Specialist – Facilities Services Recycling

• 60% Collect recycling from bins around campus and transport it to the correct bins.
• 20% Sort recycling materials.
• 10% Maintain recycling equipment.
• 10% Other Duties as assigned.

• Must be a current UVU student.
• Able to obtain Forklift certification within 6 months of hire.

• Knowledge of tools and methods used in recycling.
• Knowledge of materials and what can and cannot be recycled.
• Knowledge of specialized equipment used for recycling.
• Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and transporting of heavy loads using trucks and trailers.
• Knowledge of general maintenance operations.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to withstand strenuous and adverse working conditions.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to drive ¾ ton pickup truck.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.
