About 100 million shoppers use Stylitics content and technology on retail sites each month to find inspiration, discover new products and brands, and gain confidence in how to style their purchases.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced JavaScript engineer for a contract position. As an Engineer on the Inspire project you will be responsible for building a Single Page Application to display information to authenticated users. You will take detailed design and requirements and translate that into composable and intuitive frontend experiences. You will collaborate with Designers, Project Managers, and Architects to ensure a timely delivery.The Inspire ProjectThe Inspire Project aims to develop a sophisticated, client-facing platform that will enhance client support and demonstrate the value of Stylitics. This platform will serve as a central hub for our clients, offering them a dynamic and intuitive interface to manage their interactions with our offerings and clearly understand their ROI.It will expand our current platform capabilities with a brand new user interface inside of the platform. Some specific elements to be built by this role are multistate tables (view and edit mode), sophisticated charting with operational data, and embedding large scale looker reports into a React app.We will work in 1 week sprints. Monday - 1 hr meeting to groom project and plan. Friday - demo to company. These will be the only scheduled meetings. You will be required to submit Pull Requests for code review and be responsive to feedback asynchronously.Must-Have Qualifications• 5+ years of Git/Github experience• 5+ years of production React experience• 5+ years of production CSS experience• 1+ years of production SPA development• 2+ years of production TypeScript development• 2+ years of Tailwind UI experience• Work US East Cost hours; Fluent EnglishNice-to-Have Qualifications• Experience with Vite JS• Experience with Github Actions• Experience with Vitest, Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Next.JS)SalaryWhen we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you and is fair on our end. We consider the skills and experience you bring, what similar jobs pay, and make sure there’s equal pay for equal work among those you’ll be working with. The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $60 - $70 HR. The final offer also takes into account other factors of a total compensation package, including what is market-based on the region.
