Events Planning & Social Media Specialist (Intern)

Substance is looking for an enthusiastic Events Planning & Social Media Intern to join our vibrant team! You will support the organization of various events while also creating and promoting compelling content across our social media platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of events, including logistics management and participant communication.
• Social Media Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media channels to promote events, including graphics, posts, and stories that align with our brand identity.
• Audience Engagement: Interact with followers on social media platforms, responding to comments and messages to create a vibrant online community.
• Event Promotion: Implement strategies to effectively promote events through social media, including scheduling posts and using targeted campaigns.
• Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns related to events, providing insights for improvement.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the marketing and events teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Trend Research: Stay updated on event planning trends and social media best practices to enhance our strategies.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with a passion for engaging storytelling.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and tools to create visually appealing content.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for brainstorming new event ideas and promotional strategies.
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
