About the role:
We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new business opportunities within the Media & Entertainment industry. You will work closely with the sales team to generate leads and build relationships with key decision-makers in creative teams, post-production houses, media organizations and household brands. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of technical understanding, sales expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Your day to day:
Lead Generation: Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to identify potential customers
Qualification: Conduct initial qualification of inbound and outbound leads, assessing their needs and alignment with Suite’s solutions.
Relationship Building: Initiate contact with decision-makers and influencers at target organizations, establishing rapport and understanding their business challenges.
Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff and provide feedback on lead quality and market trends.
Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in post-production, creative industries, and file storage solutions. This knowledge will be critical in positioning our platform effectively to prospects.
Represent Suite at various industry events
Who you are:
1-2 years of prior sales experience in a similar role - SaaS experience a plus
Strong ability to identify and qualify leads.
Proficient in cold calling, email outreach, and lead nurturing.
Ability to tailor messages to different audiences within creative teams and other decision-makers.
Experience with sales tools (HubSpot, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and communicate complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Proven ability to set meetings within defined Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP)
Track record of achieving and exceeding goals
