About the Role
Will be helping support global DE&I initiatives and cultural celebrations with content creation, event metrics, and partnering with a global team. You will partner with the Employer Resource Group, Employer Branding and Corporate Communications team.
What You Will Do
Research current potential partnerships, social demographics and issues specific to Talent Acquisition and Engagement corporate teams focusing best practices and branding strategies that allow us to attract and retain diverse talent.
Support with diversity reporting and monthly dashboards
Participate in discussions with Corporate Communications and Employee Engagement and Employer Branding to assist in driving our DE&I strategy and roadmap are communicated internally and externally as part of our employee engagement and employer branding practices to support us in building a more inclusive and diverse environment
Brainstorm creative content for global DE&I workshops/panel discussions/learning series events
Produce high-quality written and visual content (video messages, newsletters, posters, PowerPoint presentations, SharePoint/HARMAN Hub site, articles, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and oversee ERG mailbox communication
Project Manage DEI Project projects and operations
What You Need
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program.
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Must have taken courses in one or more of the following or equivalent: Business, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work
Knowledgeable about terminology/well versed in language connected to diversity, culture, and equity topics
Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
What Makes You Eligible
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide full work availability from May 22, 2023 through August 11, 2023 and be able to work 40 hours per week depending on workload
