Position Overview:
We are looking for an Intern to work across our Legal team and tackle specific project needs relating to Contract Management, Data Rights and Privacy and Security, as well as other technology issues such as AI and Data Blocking.

What you will work on:
Contract Database Organization. Work with our contract management team to structure, organize, and catalogue the company’s contract database

Review existing contracts to identify outlier terms in certain clauses.

Work within our existing software platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SharePoint) to ensure documents are properly located and cross-referenced.

Provide a final presentation regarding the project's results, things learned along the way, and proposals for further improvements for the database and process flow.
Legal Research. Research laws regarding privacy and security, data blocking and data rights, as well as AI and related technology issues as they pertain to the healthcare space. Prepare memos or presentations regarding these topics.
Additional Opportunities. Time permitting, additional projects relating to other areas of the Legal department's areas of focus may be included in the internship such as assisting with new policy drafting, training and process improvement.
