Sr. Videographer

We work on a large variety of content from weekly web shows, to live stream broadcasts, to training content and beyond. Innovating our process with new techniques and technologies is where we shine.We are looking for an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented Cinematographer to be responsible for the look and feel of our content, from setting up shots, to lighting, and color correction. The successful candidate will have a passion for filmmaking, a comprehensive understanding of camera equipment and software, and excellent technical and creative skills.Responsibilities- Discuss the creative vision with the Director and collaborate with other members of the production team.- Prepare the shooting schedule, location scouting, and equipment needs for each assignment- Coordinate with the gaffer and other members of the production crew- Operate, adjust, and maintain camera equipment to capture footage and ensure the best shots- Set up and adjust lighting, angles, lenses, and camera positions. Ensure that the shots are in focus, properly exposed, and framed correctly- Edit and color correct footage, or work closely with color correction staff.- Use specialized camera equipment such as robotics, drones, jibs, and steadicams- Provide technical advice and troubleshoot issues- Knowledge and experience with virtual backgrounds or LED Volumes is a plus.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in film, photography, or related field- At least 5 years of experience as a Cinematographer- Expert knowledge of camera equipment and software- Excellent and Proven technical/creative skills- Strong understanding of lighting principles for the sake of storytelling- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills- Able to take direction and work collaboratively under tight deadlines- Understanding of video codecs and formats- A knowledge of production studio technologies current and emerging (wireless video transmission, remote camera control, etc.)- Diligent and proven ability to innovate- A demo reel is a must- Be fun, don't take yourself too seriously.
