Founded in 2020, Supersocial operates a cutting-edge studio and a next-generation agency, developing, producing and publishing world-class games, experiences and brand worlds on Roblox, metaverse, and other emerging platforms. Supersocial was founded by Yonatan Raz-Fridman “Yon" (CEO), Pedro Romi (CFO), Luiza Justus (Head of Creative) and Tatiana Wlasek (Chief Operations Officer), together bringing demonstrable track record in building and scaling consumer tech companies and brands. Our CEO Yon is recognized as a trailblazer and thought leader in the metaverse space both for his work with Supersocial and his podcast Into The Metaverse.


Our special sauce is combining creator talent who grew up on the Roblox platform with creatives and operators with decades of experience building consumer brands and telling stories in creative ways. The Supersocial team combines deep Roblox expertise with AAA experience and creative storytellers who, together, design cutting edge experiences that feels authentic to metaverse communities.



HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT


  • As the Head of Production, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the production team, overseeing the successful execution of our experiences from development, through launch and liveops. You will work across multiple projects. You will guarantee our experiences are being shipped within the expected timeline, budget and excellence. You will support in refining the phases and best practices of our development lifecycle, from roadmap creation, through development, release, and live operations. You will need a background in product management, project and portfolio management, and other standards, processes, and best practices that ensure predictability, high-quality, and efficient releases of our games to players worldwide.


  • The Head of Production provides leadership to the department and for ensuring the right talent strategy to accomplish those capabilities. You will be accountable for driving the production teams and making sure they feel supported and motivated. Your expertise in game development, leadership skills, and strategic thinking will be essential in achieving our studio's goals and maintaining our reputation as a leading player in the industry.

  • Production Leadership: Lead and inspire production teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Set clear goals, provide guidance and support to team members, and ensure effective communication across all levels.
  • Talent Strategy & Mentoring: Work with the People team to establish and implement a talent strategy, including job architecture, competency definition, and support across the hiring and mentoring efforts.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement effective project management strategies, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure the successful delivery of game development projects within defined parameters.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the studio's production strategies and goals. Contribute to decision-making processes regarding game concepts, development pipelines, and resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of quality throughout the game development lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of games and experiences without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in game development projects and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Regularly assess project risks and provide timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, and internal teams in what is related to production. Foster strong working relationships, ensure effective collaboration, and maintain alignment throughout the production process.
  • Learning and Development - You’ll develop a strategy to improve for Supersocial's production team. You'll lead the effort to provide learning and development programs and courses to producers at all levels and across the entire department.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production workflows, optimize efficiency, and improve productivity. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements, recommending and implementing relevant tools and methodologies.


QUALIFICATIONS


Must Have


  • 7+ years of experience working in a leadership role through the different stages of the game product life cycle (e.g. prototype, pre-production, production, launch, and live operations (where applicable)
  • 8+ years working in a senior game production leadership role, responsible for organizational leadership, mentoring production leaders, and setting department-level strategy and goals
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth understanding of game development processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.


Nice to Have


  • Experience with Roblox
  • Familiarity with game engines, development platforms, and industry-standard software.
