SUPERVISOR - BOX OFFICE

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Entertainment Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the daily operations of the Box Office and Admissions ticket sales and reconciliation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Executes event builds including on sales, inventory management, map creation
Oversees the Day of Show operations in the Box Office ticketing system.
Issues status updates to Marketing departments regarding daily ticket sales.
Oversees Admissions/Ticketing for events using the Ticketmaster system.
Create standard operating procedures and reinforce best box office practices.
Work closely with operations to be proactive in communication and issues that may arise.
Liaison with the Finance department to track and monitor revenue from ticketing.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required with two (2) years of box office experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred. Must have advanced knowledge of Ticketmaster Host/TMone

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
