This is an entry level position for someone looking for a career in supply chain
- Individual may be asked to manage assigned commodities
- Update production cost estimates and quotes as received
- Issue RFQ’s and load the appropriate quotes as directed by the Commodity Leaders
- Help to develop and strengthen relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and cross-functional departments
- Provide forecasts and schedules to suppliers as required
- Maintain accuracy of purchase orders in system (delivery date, price, etc.)
- Perform procurement follow-up and evaluate supplier conformance with terms of the purchase agreement and generate related reports
- Work closely with Commodity Managers and Material Planners and advise of any potential supplier challenges that could adversely affect the supply of components
- Assist in maintaining data integrity in all purchasing files
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent
- Recent college graduate to 5 years of work experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management
- Well organized and detail-oriented with good follow-up and project coordination
- Ability to multiple tasks and work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $85,000 - $115,000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion
