Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you'll integrate data from various sources using cloud technologies, design and optimize data pipelines, and implement software engineering best practices. You'll collaborate with data platform and analytics engineers to provide high-quality data across the organization, enabling informed decisions. If you want to:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure to support data engineering processes, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability;
  • Assure that code follows established standards and best practices for performance, scalability, reusability, and quality;
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement data solutions addressing business needs;
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and best practices to continually improve our data infrastructure.


And you can check off:
  • 2+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering or DevOps fields;
  • Proficiency in cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure, with a solid understanding of their services and offerings;
  • Advanced programming skills in Python or other related programming language;
  • Experience with data orchestrators (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, Mage) to automate and streamline data workflows;
  • Experience with IoC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for infrastructure provisioning and management;


Bonus points if you:
  • Possess proficiency in working with Docker containers to package and deploy applications;
  • Have experience working with dbt for data transformation and modeling;
  • Have a proven track record of building production solutions in Python and PySpark;
  • Have previous leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the team.
  • Familiarity with the Scrum methodology and agile development practices;
