Security Automation Engineer

If you want to:

Design, implement, and maintain automation tools for critical security applications, processes, and their underlying infrastructure;
Develop and implement SOAR workflows to automate incident response tasks;
Fine-tune, and oversee SOAR platforms to streamline incident response activities;
Collaborate with the SOC team to ensure effective incident response, threat hunting, and utilization of threat intelligence sources;
Document automation processes and provide comprehensive training materials for relevant teams.

And you can check off:

Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash;
Experience with version control systems, such as Git;
Strong background with CI/CD tools;
Experience with RESTful APIs for integrating various security tools and platforms;
Familiarity with JSON and XML for data interchange between tools;
Hands-on experience in implementing SOAR and/or SIEM platforms;
Experience in developing custom playbooks, workflows, and automated responses.

Bonus points if you:

Have experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack;
Have experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes;
Have knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools;
Have experience in securing cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Are familiar with cloud-native security tools and practices;
Are familiar with DevSecOps practices and integrating security tools in the DevOps pipeline;
Have certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, or GCIH.
