Senior Counsel, Product

SurveyMonkey, a global leader in online surveys, is seeking a Senior Counsel with experience in product counseling and advising on marketing and regulatory issues to join their Legal & Corporate Affairs Team.

Skills

7+ years of relevant legal experience in product counseling and marketing
JD from an accredited law school and membership in at least one US state bar
Working knowledge of data privacy and security laws, SaaS software licensing, and regulatory frameworks
Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Strong legal and business judgment with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly

Responsibilities

Providing legal guidance for product, research, intellectual property, strategic partnerships, and marketing
Advising on product development, data privacy & security, intellectual property, marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships
Developing scalable processes for legal review and launch of new products
Collaborating with various internal teams on legal and corporate strategic projects

Education

JD from an accredited law school
Membership in at least one US state bar
