The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

MN RF Productization is responsible for Nokia 5G products’ RF integration and verification. In this global unit, we are creating verification capability to drive unified testing strategy and enabling efficient product development with the Product Development unit(s). Our target is to harmonize I&V process and WoW across sites and locations globally. There are more than 900 professionals working in RF Productization globally and we aim to develop a world-class product development operation in terms of efficiency, competencies, quality, innovation, team spirit, simplicity, and accountability.

Do you want to contribute to 5G as a software expert? Are you interested in gNb integration, test script development, test automation or SW development? We are now looking for an Engineer for OTA SW area. Your focus will be on developing software used for these facilities in python, including test automation and RF Performance measurements.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

• Develop software in a global framework for OTA environments
• Review Test Automation software as a part of a global team.
• Troubleshoot automation, test setups, and BTS problems
• Help and support customer demos, trials and fault investigations as needed

Your skills and experience

You have:

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or an equivalent education
• Experience of software development languages
• Ability to convert specifications to test cases or SW
• Team player with good communication (verbal and written) skills, self-drive and capability to independent work

It would be nice if you also had:

• Python, JavaScript and bash knowledge
• Knowledge of agile Software development practices
• Experience of tools like signal analyzers, signal generators, test mobiles (UE‘s)
• Knowledge of RF
