In addition to the day-to-day tasks, you will contribute to activities linked to the elaboration and implementation of the strategy of the Credit & Surety Insurance team.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference and be part of a company that values innovation, teamwork and thought leadership.Key Responsibilities:You will be a key member of Deal Teams for our North America Commercial Surety and Trade Finance activities and be responsible for:• Professional and profound credit risk /credit rating assessment and financial analysis of a diverse set of industrial corporates.• Approval/recommendation of credit limits in line with internal policies and standards.• Evaluation of Surety and Trade Finance transaction structures, delivery of objective, risk-related inputs on transactions and corporate obligors as well as recommendations on credit risk mitigation and loss prevention.• Monitoring of in-force credit exposures to assess the potential impact of market events on specific corporate obligors and/or risk portfolios.• Contribution towards shaping data and technology driven transformation of our Credit & Surety business.About YouYou are passionate about corporate credit risk analysis, a proven self-starter, organized and able to successfully handle multiple priorities and deadlines, managing diverse projects and tasks simultaneously. You possess well-honed interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective, collaborative working relations in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environmentAdditional requirements include:• 4-7 years of experience in corporate credit risk analysis in a credit risk management or similar function. Knowledge of corporate loans is a significant plus.• Strong credit risk assessment skills with focus on the US market but a demonstrated ability to apply skills to a global environment.• Ability to go "beyond the financials" in enriching the credit analysis with the most current economic, industry and credit market sentiments.• Proficient in financial spreading, financial projections and experience in handling credit application documents.• Ability to critically question rationales behind transaction applications and obtain a holistic view of the business justification.Strong plus includes:• Credit risk assessment experience for• surety and/or trade finance business.• municipalities and government-related, non-profit organizations• asset managers and private equity firms• Business degree and/or CFA / Chartered Accountant or similar qualification in financeThis is a unique opportunity to apply your corporate credit analytical skills to the management of a global Credit & Surety portfolio and support our deal teams to ensure the sustainable profitability of our Credit & Surety Insurance business.About the TeamThe Credit Product Centre is a globally distributed team with presence in Sao Paulo, Kansas City, Frankfurt, Munich, Bratislava, Zurich, Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
