Business Analyst

Company Description

Founded by two engineers, Swissquote makes trading opportunities accessible to everyone and we challenge everything that makes traditional banking irrelevant.
The Swissquote Tech Hub in Bucharest is meant to create a new high-calibre location for the Swissquote engineering group. The Tech Hub is structured around the design, build and maintenance of innovative and reliable systems, products and services. Operating within a collaborative Agile environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions to the business and our customers using our evolving platforms.

Job Description

You will work side-by-side with several development teams on a wide variety of applications and mission-critical and time-to-market projects in the digital assets trading domain. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and to grow within teams of highly qualified specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the needs of the different business department
  • Prepare the functional documentation
  • Write and detail user stories, create and maintain the team backlog throughout the project’s life cycle
  • Assist project team on daily basis by answering specifications related questions and providing necessary business context
  • Come-up with a business solutions 
  • Do internal/external market research 

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • At least basic trading experience: equities, forex, digital assets
  • Exposure to banking/fintech/crypto domain 
  • Ability to maintain technical discussions with the development teams
  • Solution oriented
  • Knowledge of what business processes are and how to analyze them
  • Practical experience in the analysis of high-level business ideas and their transformation into detailed requirements
  • Experience in documenting requirements within the agile process
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
