What will your job look like?

Job Description:
Location: Nationwide

• At least 5 years relevant experience required. Our quick-thinking and tech-savvy Switch team members are expected to: Conduct expert wireless network equipment installation and maintenance Test, locate, and repair complex equipment problems Handle configuration and fault management for a range of platforms including voicemail (IN),
• HLR (Home Location Register), VLR (Visitor Location Register), BSC (Base Station Controller), SMSC (Short Message Service Center), and IWF (Inter Working Function)
• Perform database backups and conduct maintenance of computer hardware and software Work with telecom vendors to meet schedules for new equipment installation Assist RF engineering to ensure the best possible network performance
• Will work on Generator PM/Maintenance, 10G migrations, Sprint Retain, router upgrades, ATOMS sealing, RFC testing, hurricane preparedness
• Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) Will be provided through software center
• What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) Morning call, answering phones, checking status of sites, sending reports, verifying alarms, site walks inside the switch
• Preferred background/prior work experience? Switch experience, Nokia market
• Priority soft skills Excel
