QA Automation Engineer

Role: QA Automation EngineerWork Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United StatesContact: Sachin.s@synechron.comOur Challenge:As a QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.The RoleResponsibilities:• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Python. Implement and maintain automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.• ETL Testing: Perform ETL testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy across different systems. Write SQL queries to validate data transformations and data loading processes.• API Automation: Develop automated tests for RESTful and SOAP APIs. Use tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar for API testing.• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely test execution and reporting.• Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with product owners and developers to define testing requirements. Execute test cases and document results in a clear and concise manner.• Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Provide detailed reports on test results and defect status.• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
