Updated:July 17, 2024Location:Indianapolis, IN, United StatesJob ID:5081You know how to clear the way, attend to complex situations, and serve as a trusted liaison.In this role, you will be dedicated to initiatives that are intended to address the opioid crisis in a productive and positive way and work to build awareness, contracting, resource support, and implementation of effective programs for our customer’s product. You will:Build awareness of the product in the hospital setting. Where Emergency Medical Service (EMS) is a direct extension of the hospital Emergency Department, there may be requirements for the role to fulfill.Strategically engage willing partners to advance the positive impact on patients via our client’s introduction of their product.Contract the product to ensure wide availability with limited financial barriers to use. This may include Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Hospitals, and potentially Managed Care Plans/Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), Specialty Pharmacy among others, as applicable.Increase the awareness of the client’s product with appropriate placement on hospital formularies, pathways, and protocols via Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees and other governing bodies using approved materials and Medical Science Liaisons, as appropriate.Minimum Requirements:5+ years’ commercial biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.3+ years’ successful institutional/hospital experience calling on hospital and IDN networks.Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.Desired Requirements:Product launch experience with a proven track record of success.Ability to travel 70% of the time.At Syneos Health, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
